It’s Freezing in LA! (IFLA) is extending the submission deadline for its upcoming special edition of climate fiction shorts and comics.

The magazine is looking for cli-fi that foregrounds radical or novel ideas on environmental resistance that would be more difficult to present in nonfiction, particularly Indigenous and Global South cli-fi.

The August 15 deadline to pitch IFLA is now extended to August 23. The pitch should include a short brief about your submission, with two paragraphs from the story for short fiction, and ‘moment’ thumbnails for comics.

Selected entries will receive between USD100 to USD400, depending on length. Read the full guidelines on IFLA’s Instagram page.
