To start the new year, Gerakbudaya will host the launch of Jeyakumar Devaraj’s Notes on the Way Forward: As Socialist Perspective, which was released late last year.

In Notes on the Way Forward, Jeyakumar, the chairperson of Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) and former Sungai Siput MP, examines what a fair, equitable, and dignified life looks like under a system that prioritises profit maximisation and individualism, touching on healthcare, free trade agreements, land distribution, right to housing, migrant workers’ rights, and the widening gulf between the richest and everyone else.

The launch will feature a panel of guests, and requires registration.
