Chelsea Hodson of Rose Books is opening submissions for the first time ever, from November 1 to December 1, 2026.

Rose Books is looking for both agented and unagented manuscripts of all genres, with no submission fee. Importantly, manuscripts do not have to be complete.

Hodson is most interested in novels, book-length essays, books from first time authors, as well as books that cannot be published under the author’s real name.
