Iskra Books chapter submissions

Iskra Books is looking for chapter submissions for its latest book project on the intersection of communist organising and transgender liberation. The as-yet untitled project seeks submissions from trans organisers and allies that highlight the contributions of liberatory voices in the development of trans-inclusive communist organising and movement-building spaces.

The submissions can be up to 10,000 words, and can take the form of academic and scholarly work as well as personal reflections and autobiographical pieces focused on the critical development of theoretical insight. The Iskra project will also accept poetry, art and other creative submissions.

All submissions can be sent to ember@iskrabooks.org or inquiries@iskrabooks.org by June 30.
